By 2025, artificial intelligence (AI) will consolidate itself as the most relevant technology in Brazil, according to research by Blendit. Approximately 62% of those surveyed identified AI as the main driver of innovation, followed by robotics (36%) and cloud computing (30%).2.

Adoption of generative AI accelerates

Almost half of Brazilian companies (43%) plan to use generative AI regularly by the end of the year, while 15% have already started implementation. Another 25% express high expectations for the technology.2.

Robotics and cybersecurity are advancing.

Robotic cybersecurity solutions with AI are in the spotlight. According to the survey, 411,300 respondents intend to begin implementing these tools, 331,300 are already planning full integration, and 231,300 are considering adopting the technology.2.

Beyond AI, quantum computing and extended reality (XR) are gaining momentum. Quantum computing promises processing trillions of times faster than current supercomputers, while 85% of Brazilian CIOs/CTOs see XR as essential for the future of businesses.2.

Environmental impact and innovation

The Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Luciana Santos, emphasized that innovation and technology must serve the environment. The government announced investments of R$200 million in science, technology and innovation, focusing on AI, data science and environmental preservation.4.

New positions and demand for talent.

The technology market in Brazil is also experiencing high demand for professionals. The five most sought-after and highest-paying jobs in 2025 include specialists in AI, cybersecurity, software development, and data management.3.
