According to the National Association of Credit Bureaus (ANBC), AI improves risk analysis, reduces operational costs, and expands responsible access to credit. Elias Sfeir, executive president of ANBC, emphasizes that AI is a strategic ally that combines technology and humanity, provided it is applied ethically and transparently.

In credit bureaus, AI is used for instant score updates, real-time fraud detection, and automation of statistical models, which can reduce costs by up to 66% and accelerate processes that previously took weeks to just a few days. A practical example is that more than 70% of the new models created in 2023 incorporated machine learning and deep learning, increasing processing speed and decision security by 20 times.

Salaries in technology and the challenges of skilled labor.

Brazil leads in Latin America in compensation for technology professionals, especially engineers and data scientists who earn an average of US$$ 67,000 annually. However, there are internal disparities, with technical areas being highly valued while sectors such as sales and marketing still lag behind global standards.

Furthermore, 84% of technology contracts are with freelancers, highlighting a trend towards independent work that can reduce costs and increase agility, but also brings risks of precarious employment and regulatory challenges.
