Brazil at Web Summit Lisbon 2025: 370 startups in the spotlight.

Between November 10th and 13th, Brazil had a strong presence at Web Summit Lisbon 2025, one of the largest global technology and innovation events, with a delegation comprising more than 370 startups and innovative companies from all regions of the country. The initiative by ApexBrasil, in partnership with Sebrae, has a clear focus on the internationalization and expansion of these companies.

The Brazilian Pavilion was officially inaugurated on November 11th, with the participation of authorities such as the presidents of ApexBrasil, Jorge Viana, and Sebrae, Décio Lima, as well as diplomatic representatives and representatives from the public and private sectors. The expectation is that Brazilian participation will generate networking, investments, and international partnerships, strengthening the national innovation ecosystem.

At COP30, the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) launched the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) As Brazil's first Digital Public Good, CAR is internationally recognized and is part of the Digital Public Goods Alliance (DPGA) catalog, highlighting the country's leadership in open and digital solutions that promote sustainability, transparency, and environmental traceability.

Minister Esther Dweck emphasized Brazil's commitment to uniting technological innovation, sustainability, and social justice, positioning public technology as an essential tool to effectively and equitably address climate challenges.
