Technology: trends and incentives in 2025
The last few weeks show that 2025 will be marked by technological advances and changes in training policies. Experts point to the growth of artificial intelligence, the advancement of 6G, and new rules for companies that invest in young people in the field.
Artificial intelligence on the rise.
Artificial intelligence (AI) continues to dominate discussions. According to experts, mini AI models are already being integrated directly into smartphones, such as Apple Intelligence, launched for the iPhone 16 line. This means that advanced AI functions will be available in users' pockets, making everyday tasks easier.1.
Furthermore, realistic AI-generated videos are expected to become more accessible and cheaper, accelerating changes in areas such as entertainment and marketing. AI agents, software capable of making more complex decisions, are also expected to become commonplace, expanding the autonomy of digital systems.1.
6G and connectivity
With 5G already well-established in Brazil, the focus is now on 6G. The sixth generation of mobile networks is in the testing phase and promises to be up to 50 times faster than 5G, according to technology expert Arthur Igreja. This advancement could transform sectors such as healthcare, industry, and education, enabling new real-time applications.1.
Incentives for youth training
In politics, the Senate's Science and Technology Committee (CCT) approved a bill that grants tax incentives to companies that promote IT training for young people aged 18 to 29 (PL 3040/2025). Companies will be able to deduct expenses related to training programs from their income tax, provided they are carried out in partnership with educational institutions. The proposal now goes to the Economic Affairs Committee (CAE) for analysis.3.
The goal is to stimulate talent development and reduce the shortage of qualified professionals in the sector, which is growing rapidly in the country.
Impacts and perspectives
- The advancement of AI in personal devices and content creation;
- 6G tests promise to revolutionize connectivity;
- Tax incentives can increase the supply of skilled labor.
These trends show that technology is increasingly present in daily life and in political decisions, with direct impacts on the Brazilian economy and society.
