Gov.br surpasses 170 million and leads the transformation.

Platform reaches record number of users and surpasses Super Bowl viewership.

Gov.br has established itself as the largest digital marketplace in Brazil, reaching 170 million registered users, according to Rogério Mascarenhas, National Secretary of Digital Government. At peak times, the platform receives 130 million simultaneous accesses—a number that surpasses the audience of the Super Bowl, the world's largest television event.

The system offers approximately 5,000 digital public services, ranging from retirement and vaccination records to document signing. The scale achieved represents a milestone in the digitization of Brazilian public services and repositions the country in the digital transformation landscape.

Context: Brazil is still lagging behind in AI adoption.

While Gov.br is advancing in scale, Brazil faces challenges on other technological fronts. According to a recent study, the country ranks 60th out of 164 nations in the diffusion of artificial intelligence, with an adoption rate of only 15.6%. The language barrier is one of the main obstacles: AI models are much more accurate in English, while the volume of content available in Portuguese is significantly lower compared to European languages.

The central message from the experts is straightforward: the next decade will not be defined by who builds AI, but by who can use it. Without digital infrastructure policies, training, and language inclusion, the technology risks widening inequalities.

Innovation in service of climate and agribusiness

At COP30, held in Belém, the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Luciana Santos, reaffirmed that innovation and technology need to be at the service of the environment. The ministry announced an investment of R$200 million in science, technology and innovation in Piauí, including the creation of IMPA Tech, the first institute of pure and applied mathematics in the Northeast.

Brazil is also reinforcing its global position in agribusiness. Nine Brazilian companies are participating in Agritechnica 2025, Europe's largest agricultural technology fair, showcasing innovative solutions such as planters, harvesters, and selective spraying systems. This participation consolidates the country as a benchmark in high-tech solutions for the sector.
