The Brazilian delegation includes entrepreneurs from all regions of the country, with priority given to businesses led by women, communities in the North, Northeast, Federal District, favelas, and urban communities. According to data from the Sebrae Startups Observatory, the Brazilian innovation ecosystem surpassed 20,000 active companies in August 2025, a growth of 301% compared to the previous year.

According to the president of Sebrae, Décio Lima, the growth of the startup sector is fundamental for the creation of jobs and income. ApexBrasil highlights that the Web Summit is a transformative opportunity for Brazilian startups, regardless of their stage of maturity. "Apex will showcase this transformative potential of Brazil, where all regions of the country are a hotbed of innovation," said Maria Paula Velloso, Industry and Services Manager at ApexBrasil.
Programming and initiatives
Among the highlights of the Brazilian participation are thematic panels, the launch of ApexPod in Motion — a videocast recorded directly from the Brazil Pavilion — and conversations with entrepreneurs, experts, and investors. The event takes place from November 10th to 13th in Lisbon and seeks to broaden the reach of Brazilian innovation on the international stage.
