The event reinforces Brazil's role as a center for digital innovation. In addition, the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) launched the first national 100% satellite, designed for environmental monitoring.

Challenges and opportunities

Despite the progress, the economic scenario presents challenges. The government revised its 2025 GDP growth projection downwards, from 2.31% to 2.21%, and inflation remains above target. The service sector, the main driver of the economy, had its growth projection reduced from 2.11% to 1.91%.
