Brazil strengthens technological innovation with investments and events.

In recent days, Brazil has shown significant progress in technology and innovation, particularly in public investments, international participation, and events focused on digital transformation and sustainability.

The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) announced significant investments for scientific development in the country. Among the recent actions, the investment of R$200 million in Piauí for IMPA Tech stands out. IMPA Tech is the first institute of pure and applied mathematics in the Northeast, aiming to reduce regional inequalities through science and technology. In addition, the Centelha 3 program will invest R$7.1 million in the Federal District to support up to 47 innovative projects with grants of R$150,000 each, fostering local technological entrepreneurship.

Brazil at Agritechnica 2025, the largest agricultural technology fair in Europe.

From November 9th to 15th, nine Brazilian companies will participate in Agritechnica 2025 in Hannover, Germany, consolidating the country as a global leader in agribusiness solutions. The event expects more than 430,000 visitors from 130 countries and showcases advanced technologies such as planters, harvesters, and selective spraying systems. Brazilian participation is organized by the Brazil Machinery Solutions Program, a partnership between ABIMAQ and ApexBrasil, with the goal of promoting exports and strengthening Brazil's image in the international market.

In Pernambuco, Senai-PE inaugurated Senai Park, a 1.4-hectare innovation park in Ipojuca, which will function as a technological incubator for the development and testing of new industrial solutions. The space will allow the creation of pilot plants, mini-factories for experimenting with technologies, focusing on boosting the productivity of local and national industry, bringing the sector closer to the so-called "industry of the future".

Engineering Week 2025, at the Congonhas Campus, is underway until November 14th, featuring mini-courses and lectures on automation, artificial intelligence, and innovation. Simultaneously, the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Luciana Santos, reinforced the importance of technology serving the environment, highlighting challenges such as the decarbonization of industry and the bioeconomy, essential to the country's sustainability agenda.
