Brazil will have one of the five most powerful AI supercomputers.

Brazil is poised to join the select group of five countries with the world's most powerful artificial intelligence (AI) supercomputers. The equipment will be used to strengthen data security and national digital sovereignty, as announced by the federal government. This project is part of the Brazilian Artificial Intelligence Plan, which foresees investments of up to R$23 billion by 2028.

Brazil also leads Latin America in compensation for technology professionals, according to the report "The State of Global Compensation 2025". Engineers and data scientists receive an average of US$$ 67,000 annually. Despite this regional leadership, there are internal disparities, with technical areas offering competitive salaries, while sectors such as sales and marketing still lag behind international standards.

Events and initiatives reinforce innovation and sustainability.

Last week, the city of Santos hosted the first edition of Digital Week, bringing together more than 100 speakers, including the CEO of WhatsApp, to discuss innovation and technology. Simultaneously, the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) is preparing to launch the first national 100% satellite, aimed at climate monitoring, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and technological advancement in the country.

Furthermore, Embrapii announced an investment of approximately R$153 million in green technologies for Brazilian industry, highlighting its focus on sustainable solutions and applied innovation.
