Brazil is poised to join the select group of five countries with the world's most powerful artificial intelligence (AI) supercomputers. The equipment, foreseen in the Brazilian Artificial Intelligence Plan, will be used to strengthen data security and national digital sovereignty. The federal government projects investing up to R$ 23 billion by 2028 to consolidate this technological infrastructure.

According to the report The State of Global Compensation 2025, Brazil leads in compensation for technology professionals in Latin America. Brazilian engineers and data scientists receive, on average, US$67,000 per year, with male engineers earning up to US$88,000 annually. Areas such as product and design also offer competitive salaries, although there is a disparity between genders and sectors.
