The Brazilian market continues its upward trend, with the Ibovespa breaking consecutive records.<\/h2>\n

The Ibovespa closed Tuesday (November 11) up 1.60%, reaching 157,748 points and marking its 12th consecutive closing record. The performance reflects investor confidence in the country's economic prospects, with the dollar falling for the fifth consecutive session and reaching its lowest level since June 2024.<\/p>\n

The US dollar closed the day quoted at R$ 5.3361, down 0.22% compared to the previous close. This strengthening of the real occurs in a context of recovery in the domestic market, which has been accumulating significant gains in recent weeks.<\/p>\n

Falling inflation improves economic outlook.<\/h3>\n

The General Price Index \u2013 Domestic Supply (IGP-DI) registered a decrease of 0.03% in October, according to data released by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV). Among the product groups, the prices of capital goods fell by 0.45%, while intermediate goods decreased by 0.60%. Consumer goods registered an increase of 0.29% in the month.<\/p>\n

The main factor for this drop came from residential electricity, which saw a reduction of 2.39%. This scenario of controlled inflation increases the chances of meeting the Brazilian inflation target, reinforcing confidence in the market.<\/p>\n

Brazilian startups in the spotlight at the Web Summit in Lisbon.<\/h3>\n

While the financial market celebrates record highs, Brazil is also making a strong presence on the global innovation scene. More than 370 Brazilian startups and innovative companies are participating in Web Summit Lisbon 2025, one of the largest global technology and innovation events, which takes place between November 10 and 13.<\/p>\n

The delegation, coordinated by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) in partnership with Sebrae, represents all regions of the country. According to Sebrae's president, D\u00e9cio Lima, the positive figures of the Brazilian economy serve as a fundamental basis for these small businesses, which are the great driver of job and income creation.<\/p>\n

International context: The US faces economic challenges.<\/h3>\n

While Brazil is making progress, the United States is facing economic pressures. American consumer confidence fell in early November to its lowest level in nearly three and a half years, according to a University of Michigan survey. Furthermore, a government shutdown is impacting the American economy, with a reduction of 101,000 passengers in flights at 40 major airports.<\/p>\n

The Congressional Budget Office estimates that if the shutdown lasts another week, the impact on the economy could reach $11 billion. A federal judge ordered the government to release the full SNAP funds for November, a program that injects more than $11 billion per month into the economy.<\/p>\n

Progress in China-US trade negotiations<\/h3>\n

In a positive move for global trade, China and the United States announced progress in trade negotiations, including a pause in port tariffs on vessels bound for the Asian giant. This development could ease trade tensions affecting emerging markets like Brazil.<\/p>\n
