Between November 10th and 13th, the Web Summit Lisbon 2025 brought together more than 70,000 people and consolidated Brazil as one of the main innovation hubs in the hemisphere. A report by the multinational company Deel, released this week, shows that Brazil leads Latin America in compensation for technology professionals. Engineers and data scientists receive, on average, US$67,000 per year, with salary differences between men and women still present, but trending downwards.4<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

At COP30, the Ministry of Management and Innovation (MGI) launched the CAR (Rural Environmental Registry) as Brazil's first Digital Public Good. This initiative is part of the Acceleration Plan for Solutions in Digital Public Infrastructures and Digital Public Goods for Climate, promoting the sharing of public technologies between countries and stimulating global collaborative innovation.5<\/sup>.<\/p>\n
