Brazil expands its international presence with startups and innovation.<\/h2>\n

Brazil is making headlines at major global business and innovation events, with over 370 startups participating in Web Summit Lisbon 2025, one of the world's largest technology conferences.2<\/sup>. The delegation, coordinated by ApexBrasil and Sebrae, represents all regions of the country and seeks to expand international business and partnerships.<\/p>\n

Web Summit: 370 Brazilian startups in focus<\/h3>\n

The Brazilian Pavilion was officially inaugurated on November 11th, with the presence of authorities such as the president of ApexBrasil, Jorge Viana, and the president of Sebrae, D\u00e9cio Lima.2<\/sup>. The goal is to facilitate the internationalization of innovative companies by promoting scalable solutions and impactful technologies.<\/p>\n

Green finance and small businesses<\/h3>\n

In the sustainability agenda, Sebrae and its partners advocate for green financing for small businesses, a priority at COP30.4<\/sup>. Banco do Nordeste already conducts 14,000 microfinance transactions daily and seeks to expand credit lines for sustainable businesses.<\/p>\n

Modernization of the State and digital transformation<\/h3>\n

At the CLAD International Congress, Brazil presented advancements in modernizing the State and in federal coordination for digital transformation.6<\/sup>. The panel \u201cArchitecture of Innovation in the Brazilian Federal Government\u201d highlighted experiences such as CINCO, LaboraGov, and the National Program for Management and Innovation (PNGI).<\/p>\n
