Large-scale attacks hit Kiev.<\/h2>\n

In the early hours of November 15th, the Ukrainian capital was the target of one of the largest air strikes since the beginning of the war. According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, approximately 430 drones and 18 missiles, including ballistic and aeroballistic missiles, were launched by Russian forces against the city.<\/p>\n

The attack caused fires in residential buildings in several districts, leaving at least six dead and about 30 injured, including two children and a pregnant woman. Zelensky stated that the objective was to cause as much damage as possible to people and civilian infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in southern Ukraine, Russian forces are advancing in Zaporizhia, with Ukrainian troops retreating from several villages after intense fighting.<\/p>\n

Chile goes to the polls in a polarized election.<\/h2>\n

In Chile, Sunday's presidential election marks a moment of great polarization. Communist candidate Yanet Hara faces far-right candidate Jos\u00e9 Antonio Caz in a contest marked by debates on public safety and migration.<\/p>\n

The election comes after four years of government by leftist Gabriel Boric, whose left-wing coalition inherited Hara's candidacy. Polls indicate that Hara leads in the first round, but could lose in any second-round scenario.<\/p>\n

Global climate march takes to the streets of Bel\u00e9m.<\/h2>\n

In Bel\u00e9m, Brazil, the major global climate march took place this Saturday, with the participation of traditional peoples, international leaders, and social movements. The demonstration is happening alongside COP30, focusing on climate finance and more ambitious goals to combat climate change.<\/p>\n

Among the participants were ministers Marina Silva and S\u00f4nia Guajajara, as well as representatives from various environmental organizations. The event reinforces the pressure for concrete actions against global warming.<\/p>\n
