Brazil is poised to join the select group of countries with the world's most powerful artificial intelligence (AI) supercomputers. The equipment, which will be one of the five most powerful globally, aims to strengthen data security and national digital sovereignty. This initiative is part of the Brazilian Artificial Intelligence Plan, which foresees investments of up to R$23 billion by 2028, as announced by the federal government in October 2025.<\/p>\n

Events and technological innovation in the country<\/h2>\n

Between November 13th and 14th, the city of Santos hosted the first edition of Digital Week, a free event that brought together more than 100 speakers, including the CEO of WhatsApp, to discuss innovation and digital transformation. Simultaneously, the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) is preparing the launch of the first national satellite, 100%, scheduled for the end of November, which will play a fundamental role in climate monitoring.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Embrapii, an agency that promotes industrial innovation, launched a public call for proposals to train research groups in the Northern Region, reinforcing investment in green and sustainable technologies, with an estimated investment of R$153 million.<\/p>\n

Experts point out that artificial intelligence will continue to expand, with mini-models integrated into smartphones, as already seen in the iPhone 16 line. The production of realistic videos by AI should accelerate, reducing costs and expanding applications. Another trend is the advancement of AI agents, software capable of making complex decisions autonomously.<\/p>\n

With the consolidation of 5G throughout Brazil, the development of 6G is already under testing, promising speeds up to 50 times faster, which could revolutionize connectivity and digital services in the country.<\/p>\n

Impacts and perspectives<\/h2>\n

These technological advancements have the potential to boost the Brazilian digital economy, increase global competitiveness, and promote digital inclusion. Brazil's presence at international events such as the Web Summit Lisbon 2025, with over 370 startups and companies, reinforces the country's leading role in the global innovation landscape.<\/p>\n
