Brazilian and global technology enters a new phase in 2025, marked by the democratization of artificial intelligence in mobile devices and the first steps of 6G. Experts point out that mini AI models will arrive pre-installed on smartphones, following the path opened by Apple Intelligence in the iPhone 16, while the sixth generation of wireless networks is already undergoing testing and promises to be 50 times faster than 5G.<\/p>\n

Realistic AI and autonomous agents are gaining momentum.<\/h3>\n

The production of realistic videos using artificial intelligence is emerging as one of the main trends of the year. According to Arthur Igreja, a technology expert, we are entering an era of AI-generated visual content at significantly lower costs. "We are entering an era of realistic videos at a much lower cost; everything we've seen with images is now coming to video, there will be an acceleration. If at the beginning it was text, then came images, now it's videos," he states.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, artificial intelligence agents are gaining relevance. Unlike traditional chatbots, these software programs have the ability to make more complex decisions, similar to human decisions, without relying solely on direct user commands.<\/p>\n

6G already in testing, with revolutionary speed.<\/h3>\n

With 5G now established in Brazil \u2014 Anatel has confirmed that the high-speed network is available throughout the country \u2014 the next frontier is 6G. This technology is already in the testing phase and is expected to revolutionize connectivity, offering speeds 50 times faster than 5G.<\/p>\n

Government invests in tech training for young people.<\/h3>\n

Domestically, Brazil is making progress in technological development policies. The Senate's Science and Technology Committee (CCT) approved, on November 12th, a bill granting tax incentives to companies that train young people aged 18 to 29 in information and communication technology. Companies will be able to deduct expenses related to training programs from their income tax, provided they are carried out in partnership with accredited educational institutions.<\/p>\n

Challenging economic context<\/h3>\n

Technological innovations are advancing in a more cautious economic environment. The Ministry of Finance has revised its 2025 projections downwards: GDP is expected to grow by 2.21% of the total GDP growth period (compared to the 2.31% projected in October), while inflation is estimated at 4.61% of the total GDP growth period (down from 4.81%). The industrial sector, in particular, faces a slowdown, with growth projections revised from 1.41% to 1.31%.<\/p>\n
