Brazil continues to stand out on the global stage of technology, innovation, and business, with recent developments reinforcing the country's leading role in international events, advancements in artificial intelligence, and new funding initiatives for startups and entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

Brazilian startups shine at Web Summit Lisbon<\/h2>\n

Between November 10th and 13th, the Web Summit Lisbon brought together more than 70,000 participants, 1,000 speakers, and global technology leaders. Brazil sent a delegation of over 370 startups and companies, including ten selected by the SP Global Tech program of the S\u00e3o Paulo State Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation.1<\/sup>. The event is considered one of the largest in the world, focusing on AI, fintech, digital marketing, and sustainability.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Web Summit, Dynadok, a startup from S\u00e3o Paulo, participated in the 4CIO 2025 Mission in Porto de Galinhas, connecting with American companies such as Sumitomo Chemical America, Scotiabank USA, and New York Life Insurance. The goal is to open doors for international expansion in 2026.1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

AI transforms the Brazilian credit market.<\/h2>\n

Artificial intelligence is already a well-established reality in the national credit sector. According to ANBC, the technology has reduced operational costs by up to 661%, accelerated the development of statistical models, and expanded financial inclusion.2<\/sup>. Companies in the sector are already incorporating machine learning and deep learning into more than 70% of the new models, increasing data processing speed by 20 times.2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

According to Elias Sfeir, CEO of ANBC, AI should be seen as "Augmented Intelligence," which enhances human capabilities as long as it is used ethically and transparently.2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Brazil leads in tech salaries in Latin America.<\/h2>\n

A report by Deel shows that Brazil leads in compensation for technology professionals in Latin America. Engineers and data scientists receive, on average, US$67,000 per year. Areas such as AI, data analysis, and strategic negotiation stand out as differentiators in the market.3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Despite this, there is internal disparity: sales, marketing, product, and design professionals are still below international standards. The report also points out that 84% of technology contracts are freelancers, especially in Engineering and Data.3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

New investments and support for impact businesses<\/h2>\n

During COP30 in Bel\u00e9m, Banco do Brasil signed a letter of intent with the European Investment Bank (EIB Global) to raise \u20ac350 million to support women entrepreneurs and clean energy in the Legal Amazon region.4<\/sup>. Also launched was the Impacta Brasil Portal, a virtual showcase featuring 351 socio-environmental impact businesses, connecting national and international investors to sustainable ventures.5<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Finep announced three new public calls for proposals, including the Pr\u00f3-Amaz\u00f4nia call for proposals, with R$150 million for research infrastructure in the Legal Amazon, as well as calls for proposals for investment funds in bioeconomy and scientific collections.6<\/sup>.<\/p>\n
