Banco do Brasil secures funding of 350 million euros.<\/h2>\n

Banco do Brasil has signed a letter of intent with the European Investment Bank (EIB Global) to raise \u20ac350 million. The funds will be used to support women entrepreneurs and the implementation of clean energy in the Legal Amazon region. The partnership was formalized during COP30, held in Bel\u00e9m, reinforcing the bank's commitment to socio-environmental and economic inclusion projects.<\/p>\n

Real estate campaign with discounts of up to 70%<\/h3>\n

Furthermore, Banco do Brasil launched a campaign with over 150 properties available for auction and direct sale, with discounts that can reach 701% of the market value. The initiative aims to serve both those who wish to acquire their own home and investors interested in expanding their portfolios.<\/p>\n

Brazilian retail sales are projected to increase by 1.51% in 2025.<\/h2>\n

According to IBGE data released on November 13th, retail sales grew 0.81% in September 2025 compared to the previous year, marking the sixth consecutive positive result. Year-to-date, the sector shows an increase of 1.51%, driven mainly by furniture, appliances, office equipment, pharmaceuticals, and personal care products.<\/p>\n

Despite annual growth, monthly performance showed a decrease of 0.3% between August and September, with six of the eight activities surveyed registering a decline, especially in textiles, clothing, footwear, and fuels.<\/p>\n

Financial market and outlook<\/h2>\n

On the Brazilian stock exchange, the Ibovespa interrupted a streak of more than 10 days of record highs, closing with a slight drop of 0.07% on November 13th. Among the stocks that appreciated the most were Ta\u00edsa (+5.77%), CSN (+5.05%) and B3 (+4.36%).<\/p>\n

Banco do Brasil reported a 60% drop in annual profit due to increased defaults and provisions, leading to a downward revision of its financial projections for 2025.<\/p>\n

Government seeks financial compensation for meal vouchers.<\/h2>\n

The federal government, through the Ministry of Labor, announced efforts to implement a technological system that will allow for financial compensation between meal voucher companies, facilitating the acceptance of all card brands in establishments.
