In recent days, the country has demonstrated strength in technology, business, and startups, consolidating its role as a leading player in Latin America.<\/p>\n<h3>Web Summit: 370 Brazilian startups in Lisbon<\/h3>\n<p>Between November 10th and 13th, the Web Summit Lisbon 2025 brought together more than 70,000 people, with Brazil represented by a delegation of over 370 startups and innovative companies from all regions of the country. The initiative is coordinated by ApexBrasil and Sebrae, which promote scalable solutions with the potential for international expansion.<\/p>\n<p>The Brazilian Pavilion was officially inaugurated on November 11th, with the presence of the presidents of ApexBrasil, Jorge Viana, and Sebrae, D\u00e9cio Lima. The event reinforces Brazil&#039;s commitment to valuing national talent and expanding the reach of Brazilian innovation in the world.<\/p>\n<h3>ApexPod in Motion: live videocast from the event<\/h3>\n<p>One new feature of the Web Summit was... <em>ApexPod on the Go<\/em>, This is a traveling version of the official ApexBrasil podcast, recorded in videocast format directly from the Brazil Pavilion. Between November 11th and 13th, the program featured conversations with entrepreneurs, experts, and investors, highlighting topics such as the advancement of technology in the Northeast of Brazil, Portugal&#039;s role as a gateway to the European market, and the lessons learned from Brazil&#039;s presence at the event.<\/p>\n<h3>The first national 100% satellite will be launched in November.<\/h3>\n<p>By the end of November, Brazil will launch its first satellite using the national 100% technology, developed by the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). The satellite, weighing 1 to 2 kg, will be used to collect environmental data and will be launched from the Alc\u00e2ntara base in Maranh\u00e3o, in partnership with the Brazilian space agency and a private South Korean company. The project&#039;s success has allowed for the inclusion of a second satellite in the same mission, expanding testing of the new technology.<\/p>\n<h3>Public digital infrastructure and sustainability<\/h3>\n<p>At COP30, the Ministry of Management and Innovation (MGI) launched CAR as Brazil&#039;s first Digital Public Good. The plan proposes the sharing of public technologies between countries, encouraging each government to make its digital solutions of collective interest available in an open format. The initiative seeks to foster an international ecosystem of collaborative public innovation, focusing on sustainability and social justice.<\/p>\n<h3>Energy storage and expansion of the solar sector.<\/h3>\n<p>With falling costs and advances in battery technologies, chemical energy storage is taking on a central role in the energy transition. Atmoce, a global solar technology and storage company, is starting its operations in Brazil, offering solutions with enhanced safety, application flexibility, and close technical support. Brazil is consolidating itself as one of the world&#039;s most promising markets for solutions that combine energy generation and autonomy.<\/p>\n<h3>Artificial intelligence and professional training<\/h3>\n<p>Artificial intelligence (AI) remains a relevant trend for 2025, with estimates that up to 421,300 tasks will be automated by 2027, according to the World Economic Forum. Companies are investing in reskilling and upskilling to empower their employees to work alongside technology.
